MP polls: Know about super-rich BJP candidate Yashodhara Raje Scindia
Earlier this month, Yashodhara, in an affidavit to the Election Commission declared that she owns a tea-set worth Rs 1.5 crore and a dinner set worth over Rs 1.54 crore!
While talking to NDTV, Yashodhara said that there is nothing wrong with it; it's part of her royal past.

59-year-old Yashodhara, who is contesting for the third time from Shivpuri seat said that she couldn't understand the fuss about her wealth.
She also said, "Whether it is me, my sister Vasundhara (Raje, BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate for Rajasthan) or my nephew Jyotiraditya, they don't think that we take a percentage (bribe).''
Another report said that the super-rich aunt of Madhya Pradesh Congress Campaign Committee Chairman and Union Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Yashodhara also owns diamond rings worth Rs 6,66,704.
Yashodhara Raje Scindia couldn't understand the fuss about her wealth.
She owns two jeeps - 1999 model Mahindra jeep valued at Rs 10,440 and another saloon jeep worth Rs 13,051.
Yashodhara has shares worth Rs 1,56,89,449 and insurance policies worth Rs 14 lakh.
With total nine bank accounts having total balance of Rs 13.60 lakh, Yashodhara also has properties in Uttarakhand and in Rajasthan valued at Rs 46.50 lakh.
Yashodhara Raje says she is confident that people will elect her as she had worked for the development of the area during her two terms. "I do not need to put up a loudspeaker to speak for myself," she said.
