MP govt to hold prohibition week on Gandhi birth anniversary
Bhopal, Sept 26: Madhya Pradesh government will observe October 2-8 as prohibition week marking the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
During the period, various programmes will be held to create awareness among people to dissuade them from consumption of liquor and drugs, an official release said on Thursday.
People will be advised to shun all forms of addiction through various events during the drive.

State social justice department has sent letters to all district collectors, CEOs of Zila Parishads, Panchayats and departmental district officers.
The week will be marked by seminars, workshops, exhibitions, debates, posters and essay competitions for creating awareness about ills of addiction.
