MP: BJP's Neena Verma to face Cong's Balmukund Singh Gautam in Dhar

Bhopal, Nov 8: The wife of former leader of opposition in the state Assembly Vikram Verma, Neena Verma on Thursday filed her nomination papers from Dhar constituency to contest in the upcoming assembly elections.

The Bharatiya Janta Party has often criticised Congress for its dynastic politics has fielded kin of many of its leaders in Madhya Pradesh state Assembly elections.

In 2008 assembly elections, the most interesting case was in Dhar constituency, where Neena Verma was declared elected by a margin of just one vote. However, the result was challenged in court by Bal Mukund Gautam, who finished second.
