Bhopal: Hotel employee killed as coffee machine bursts

, Mar 2: One person was killed and two others sustained serious

when compressor of a coffee machine burst at an eatery here.

The incident took place at Manohar Dairy and Restaurant on the Hamidia Road here yesterday.

Police said that there were relatively few customers in the restaurant because of the general strike called by Congress, otherwise the number of casualties could have been high, such was the intensity of the blast. Praash Sahni (22), an employee, was declared dead at the hospital.

Dil Bahadur Thapa (65) and Netra Bahadur Thapa (40) were injured and their condition was said to be critical.
