Bengaluru, Nov 16: It was photographs of Melania Trump that Karnataka education minister, Tanveer Sait was allegedly surfing on his mobile during a government function.

The police who sourced the video footage of the minister surfing photographs found that he was looking at pictures of Melania which were shot over a decade back.

There were many messages that had been sent to the minister and among them were photographs of Melania, the police found during their probe.

Sait had courted controversy after a video footage showed him surfing pictures on his mobile phone at a government function held on Tipu Jayanthi. The opposition in Karnataka has been demanding action against the minister.

Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah had said that viewing porn in the assembly and outside are not the same. He, however, added that he did not support what had happened and had sought for a report on the same.

Sait, on the other hand, claimed he did no wrong and said he would not step down as minister.
