Varthur Santhosh Back In Kannada Bigg Boss House? Bengaluru Court Grants Bail In Tiger Claw Pendant Case

Kannada Bigg Boss contestant Varthur Santhosh received a significant reprieve when a city court granted him bail in the tiger claw pendant case on Friday, providing relief from his arrest. The court requested him to provide a surety. The forest department had initially opposed his bail, expressing concerns that he might tamper with the evidence.

Santhosh had applied for bail in this case on Monday. The court granted the prosecution until Wednesday to file any objections. A hearing was held on Thursday, and the court reserved its decision, which was ultimately announced on Friday.

Following his release on bail, Santhosh's lawyer accused the forest department of conspiring against his client.

"We expected to obtain bail, and we did. The forest department arrested him unlawfully. He was detained without even being questioned. It appears to be a case of conspiracy," said K. Nataraj.

The forest department had arrested Santhosh on Sunday night during the filming of Kannada Bigg Boss on the outskirts of Bengaluru. He was taken into custody for wearing a tiger claw pendant during the show. The alleged tiger claws have been sent to a forensic lab for examination, and the results are pending. The prosecution contended that Santhosh had acknowledged wearing tiger claws.

Santhosh was released from central jail Parappana Agrahara at around 7:30 pm on Friday after completing all the formalities he came out of. He was given a grand welcome by his friends and fans. According to reports, he will enter Kannada Bigg Boss on Monday.

When asked about Santhosh's potential return to the Bigg Boss house, his uncle Ramesh expressed satisfaction with the bail and suggested that a conspiracy may have been at play. Ramesh also mentioned that no discussions regarding Santhosh's reentry into the Bigg Boss house had occurred, and a decision would be made after his release from jail.
