Twitter praises Malala Yousafzai, Kailash Satyarthi for winning Nobel Peace Prize

Bangalore, Oct 10: It is a proud moment for the country as child activist Kailash Satyarthi won the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday. Satyarthi shares the prize with Pakistani child activist Malala Yousafzai.

Kailash Satyarthi, who is the founder of organization, "Bachpan Bachao Andolan", is the 8th Nobel Laureate born in India.

"Showing great personal courage @k_satyarthi has headed peaceful demonstrations focusing on grave exploitation of children for financial gain", The Nobel Prize tweeted.

Malala Yousafzai meanwhile,has become the world's youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize as well as the first Nobel Laureate born in Pakistan.
