In another set of pictures, the bride was seen in a rich red-maroon saree, while the BJP MP opted for a classic off-white outfit.

A two-time Lok Sabha MP and the President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Surya is a prominent face in Indian politics. He is a nephew of three-time Basavanagudi MLA Ravi Subramanya.

His wife, Sivasri Skandaprasad, is well-known for her melodic contributions to Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan franchise. Born on August 1, 1996, she hails from a musically rich lineage as the daughter of Seerkazhi Sri J. Skandaprasad, a renowned Mridangam maestro.

Beyond music, Sivasri holds a bioengineering degree from SASTRA University, where she researched drug-induced developmental and fetal defects. She also has a diploma in Ayurvedic cosmetology from PVA Ayurvedic Hospital.
