A comprehensive charge sheet has been filed against actor Darshan and others in connection with Renukaswamy murder case. The charge sheet, spanning 4,000 pages, was submitted to the 24th ACMM court in Bengaluru on Tuesday, September 3. Darshan, who is identified as an accused in the case, continues to face charges.

The charge sheet follows a detailed three-month investigation led by ACP Chandan. The investigation revealed the roles of all accused in the murder, with the document outlining the sequence of events and actions taken by each individual involved. According to the investigation, Renukacharya was kidnapped from Chitradurga, assaulted at a shed in Pattangere, fatally beaten, and ultimately murdered. The charge sheet also includes details of a master plan to close the case, highlighting Darshan's actions post-murder.

In Ballari Jail, where Darshan is currently held, it has been reported that he has been skipping meals and sleep. Reports indicate that he has frequently inquired with jail staff about the status of the charge sheet, reflecting his concern over the ongoing legal proceedings.
