Nandini Milk Price Hike: Rs 2 Increase To Be Effective From June 26
In a shocking move, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has once again increased the prices of Nandini milk by Rs 2 per liter. The price of one liter of milk will now be ₹ 44, effective from tomorrow. This move has added to the woes of common people who are already reeling from the recent petrol price hike.
The KMF had been selling 1000 ml of milk at ₹ 42, but with the new price hike, an additional 50 ml of milk will be added to each packet, making it a total of 1050 ml. This means that the price of one liter of milk will now be ₹ 44.

The price hike also affects half-liter packets, which will now cost ₹ 2 more due to the addition of 50 ml of milk. Surprisingly, taking one liter of milk will be cheaper than taking two half-liter packets.
KMF President Bhima Naik explained that the federation is working to store 98 lakh 17 thousand liters of milk and is ready to store one crore liters with the help of 27 lakh milk-producing farmers. The federation has also earmarked 30 lakh liters of milk for milk powder.
The new prices for different types of Nandini milk are:
- Blue packet milk: ₹ 42 to ₹ 44
- Blue packet toned milk: ₹ 43 to ₹ 45
- Orange packet milk: ₹ 46 to ₹ 48
- Orange Special Milk: ₹ 48 to ₹ 50
