Man's Risky Bike Ride With Woman Sitting Sideways On Bengaluru Flyover Goes Viral

A video of a couple hugging on a moving motorcycle on May 17 in Bengaluru has gone viral on the internet. The incident is said to have taken place on the Hebbal flyover. Bengaluru Police took cognizance of the viral video and traced the duo.

In the video, the woman is seated sideways on the bike's petrol tank, with her left hand around the rider's neck. The rider is seen speeding without wearing a helmet, as recorded by another motorist.

With the help of the bike's number plate and CCTV footage, Bengaluru Police identified the biker as 21-year-old Silambarasen, residing in MV Layout, Shampura, Bengaluru, according to an India Today report.

"We have traced the offender. We will be tracing the list of violations he has done earlier," stated DCP Traffic North, Bengaluru, as reported by India Today.

The traffic police seized the vehicle, and legal action against the accused is imminent. A case has been registered under sections 279, 184, 189, 129, and 177 of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act for various traffic violations.
