KGF Star Yash Fan Dies After Collision With Police Vehicle In Gadag

KGF Star Yash's 38th birthday celebrations in Karnataka's Gadag district were marred by two heartbreaking incidents that cast a shadow of grief over the festivities. While fans in Surangi village were erecting a large cutout of their idol, tragedy struck, claiming three lives and injuring three others.

Fans Electrocuted While Raising Cutout:

In the first incident, while maneuvering the massive cutout within the Nilgiri grove, it came into contact with a live electric wire, causing the electrocution of three fans. Three others sustained critical injuries in the mishap and were rushed to Lakshmeshwar Hospital in Gadag for immediate medical attention.

Yash Cancels Birthday Shoot, Visits Victims:

Deeply shaken by the news, Yash, who was filming for his upcoming movie "Toxic" in Goa, immediately halted the shoot. He boarded a flight to Hubli and rushed to Surangi village to offer his condolences to the families of the deceased fans. He also visited Jim's Hospital in Gadag to inquire about the condition of the injured and offer them words of support.

Another tragic incident unfolded in Gadag taluk's Binkadakatti village, involving a young man named Nikhil. As Nikhil, an ardent admirer of Yash, tried to catch a glimpse of the actor returning from a hospital visit, his scooter collided with a police vehicle escorting Yash. The accident left Nikhil with severe head injuries, and despite being rushed to Gadag District Hospital in a police vehicle, he succumbed to his wounds without receiving medical intervention.

News reports initially linked the collision to Yash's security detail, adding to the confusion and grief surrounding the incident. However, Gadag SP B.S. Nemagowda clarified that the vehicle involved in the collision with Nikhil was not part of Yash's entourage but a regular police jeep unrelated to the actor's security detail. Yash himself confirmed that his own security vehicle was not involved in the accident.
