Karnataka Weather Update: Heavy Rains In 7 Districts Amid Cold Wave

Karnataka is currently facing an unprecedented cold wave, with severe chills and strong winds sweeping across the state. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of impending rainfall in the next couple of days, particularly in certain districts.

Cold winds and dry weather are expected to persist across several areas, including Uttara Kannada, Bagalkote, Belagavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, Yadgir, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Kolar, Mandya, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, and Vijayanagara.

On the other hand, rainfall is predicted for Mysuru, Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru, Chamarajanagar, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi districts. Among the recorded temperatures, Davanagere saw the lowest at 11.5°C. Bengaluru continues to experience a cloudy atmosphere, with dry weather and minimal chances of rain.
