Karnataka SSLC Students Slip In Money In Answer Sheets To Bribe Teachers: 'Have Tea With This ₹500, Sir'
Several answer sheets from the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 exams in Chikkodi, located in Karnataka's Belagavi district, contained not just responses to exam questions, but also desperate pleas and even cash - all in an attempt to persuade examiners to help students pass.
Invigilators discovered handwritten requests and currency notes tucked into answer booklets, many of which have since gone viral on the internet.

One student had inserted a ₹500 note alongside a message appealing for help to pass the exam, reported NDTV.
Some of the notes tried to tug at the heartstrings of the examiners by linking their academic success to matters of love.
One read, "Please pass me, my love is in your hands," while another declared, "I will only continue my love if I pass."
Another student attempted to be more light-hearted, writing, "Have tea with this ₹500, sir, and please pass me."
A few went further, suggesting more financial incentives. One wrote, "If you pass me, I will give you money."
Others cited family and future aspirations, with one student writing, "If you don't pass me, my parents won't send me to college."
