Extended Hotel Booking, Final Message To Husband: More Clues Emerge In Bengaluru CEO Suchana Seth Case

Suchana Seth, the Bengaluru CEO accused of killing her four-year-old son, reportedly asked the father of the child to come and meet him just days before committing the gruesome crime, said police. Despite the ongoing custody battle between the parents, Suchana showed no remorse during the investigation into the tragic incident.

On January 6, during the probe, Suchana messaged her estranged husband, Venkat Raman, suggesting he meet their child the following day. Unfortunately, Raman couldn't meet his son, as Seth and the child were not in Bengaluru, prompting him to leave for Indonesia on the same day.

The couple, married for ten years, filed for divorce in 2020, with the court granting Raman visitation rights on Sundays.

Subsequently, psychological tests were conducted on Suchana to assess her mental state and uncover the motive behind the child's killing.

Goa Police, in their initial findings, revealed that Suchana had planned the murder. Two empty bottles of cough syrup were discovered in the room where the crime occurred, suggesting a possible overdose administered to the child.

Dr. Kumar Naik, a government doctor in Karnataka, who conducted the post-mortem, disclosed that the child was "smothered" to death. No signs of struggle or wounds were found, indicating the potential use of a pillow or wire.

The motive behind the murder is believed to be Suchana's desire to prevent her estranged husband from meeting their son, as the court had granted him visitation rights on Sundays after their divorce in 2020. The child was born in 2019, a product of the couple's 2010 marriage.
