Cigarettes After Sex Cancels Bengaluru Show: Fans Left Disappointed At Bhartiya Mall
The much-awaited performance by Cigarettes After Sex (CAS) in Bengaluru on January 28, 2025 (Tuesday) was abruptly canceled due to technical and production issues, leaving fans heartbroken just 20 minutes before the gates were scheduled to open.
The American dream pop band, known for their mesmerising melodies, were supposed to perform tonight as part of their X World Tour, following their album release in 2024.

Taking to Instagram, the Texan band wrote,''we're heartbroken to announce that due to technical difficulties at the venue and beyond our control, we're unable to perform and unfortunately have to cancel tonight's show in Bengaluru. we're so incredibly sorry we can't see you all tonight and truly tried everything we could to make it happen. BookMyShow will reach out to you with information on refunds for the show as well. love you so much...''
Meanwhile, Bhartiya Mall - Mall Of Bengaluru wrote,''CAS concert stands cancelled. Unfortunately, the local production encountered technical difficulties that they were unable to resolve. As the venue partner Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru is not responsible for any technical or other issues managed by the local production. BookMyShow will be in touch with ticket buyers directly. We had eagerly waited for this moment for months, just like you and we are equally heartbroken.''
According to reports, fans, who had already traveled far from the city center to Bhartiya Mall near Bhartiya City, Thanisandra Main Road, were left frustrated and disappointed. Users on X (Twitter) claimed that many had already invested their time, money, and energy in attending the event.
The band has had a long-standing connection with India, having debuted at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender in Pune back in 2017. Their last appearance was in Mumbai during Lollapalooza India in 2023, where frontman Greg Gonzalez shared his thoughts on the show with Rolling Stone India.
