The duo landed in legal trouble after allegedly brandishing a weapon in a viral Instagram reel.

The complaint was filed by PSI Bhanu Prakash from Basaveshwaranagar Police Station, alleging that both individuals made a mistake while creating Instagram reels. In the videos, they were seen holding a long stick, which was later uploaded to Rajath's Instagram account. The complaint states that they intentionally posed with the stick to create an atmosphere of fear.

FIR Filed Against Bigg Boss Kannada Contestants Vinay Gowda And Rajath Over Instagram Reel

Allegations Against the Contestants

  • Illegally carrying a long-handled stick in a public place
  • Filming reels that could disturb public peace
  • Walking with two others while holding the stick, allegedly to create fear
  • Uploading the video on an Instagram account called 'Buzzy'

Use of a Prohibited Weapon?

A short 18-second video link was provided as evidence, claiming that the duo used a prohibited deadly weapon while filming the reels. The video was uploaded online, allegedly disturbing public peace. PSI Prakash, who is in charge of social media monitoring at the Basaveshwaranagar police station, has launched an investigation.

Both Vinay Gowda and Rajath Kishan had previously participated in the reality show 'Boys v/s Girls'. During filming, they were required to act while holding a long stick. However, they reportedly recorded reels behind the scenes, which has now landed them in legal trouble.

Despite the ongoing controversy, Vinay Gowda and Rajath Kishan have been close friends for years. However, the police investigation may determine whether their social media stunt leads to further legal consequences.
