The department anticipates dry weather to prevail in other parts of the state, with Bengaluru experiencing cloudy skies and occasional light rain. Furthermore, fog is expected in places like Hassan, Mysore, Ramanagara, Mandya, Tumkur, and Bangalore Urban districts, predicting a chilly atmosphere that is set to continue over the next few days.

The cold weather in Bengaluru arrived earlier than usual this year, and although it subsided briefly, recent cyclonic conditions have kept the temperatures low. Over the last couple of days, the combination of cold and frequent rainfall has led to cloudy skies over the city, with surrounding areas also experiencing showers since Thursday evening. Temperature readings show a significant drop, with Shirali registering a low of 16.6 degrees Celsius. Similarly, HAL observed a maximum temperature of 26.0 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 19.3 degrees Celsius, while GKVK recorded a low of 16.8 degrees Celsius amongst other temperature variations across the city.
