Bengaluru Traffic Alert: Avoid These Roads On April 20 Between 1 PM To 7 PM

Bengaluru Traffic Alert: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bengaluru City on April 20 from 01:00 PM to 07:00 PM as part of his election campaign. In light of this VVIP visit, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory. Parking of all types of vehicles on certain roads will be prohibited, and heavy goods vehicles are not allowed to enter the city between 12:00 Noon to 9:00 PM.

Commuters are advised to avoid the following roads and use alternative routes between 1 PM to 7 PM:

• Jayamahal Road
• Mount Carmel College road
• Ramanamaharshi road
• MV Jayaram road
• Tharalabalu road
• From Mekri circle towards Yashawanthapura
• CV Raman Road
• Nandidurga road
• Bellary Road

Additionally, heavy goods vehicles are advised to take alternative routes to avoid congestion. These include:

• CMTI Junction
• Mysuru bank junction
• New BEL Junction
• BHEL Underpass
• Hebbal Junction
• Basaveshwara circle
• Old Udaya TV junction
• Haj camp, Nandidurga Road
• Near Yashawanthapura Govardhan

On April 20th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a political assembly at Bengaluru Palace Grounds, starting from 5:30 p.m. This event, organized by the BJP, is expected to draw attendees from the four Bengaluru Lok Sabha constituencies, along with party employees and residents. Prior to this, PM Modi will address a crowd in Chickballapur at 3:30 p.m. The BJP anticipates an audience of approximately 200,000 for the Bengaluru event and 100,000 for the Chickballapur gathering.
