Bengaluru Rain: Overnight Shower Leads To Waterlogging At Silk Board, ORR Hebbal Flyover, Traffic Snarls
Bengaluru residents woke up to a wet and chaotic morning as moderate to heavy rains lashed the city, causing waterlogging and traffic congestion across various parts of the city. The traffic department has issued alerts for slow-moving traffic on several key roads, advising commuters to plan their travel accordingly.
Several areas are affected by waterlogging, including Wind Tunnel Road, Bannerghatta Road, Jayadeva Underpass, Rupena Agrahara, Thubarahalli, Kundalahalli, and Panatturu S Cross. The Outer Ring Road is also experiencing heavy delays due to ongoing BMRCL work.

In addition to these areas, other parts of the city are also affected by traffic congestion, including Hebbala Flyover, Marathalli, Karthik Nagar, Kalyan Nagar, Puttenahalli, Varthur Kodi, and Sakra Hospital to Bellandur.

- August 12: Generally cloudy with light rain; temperatures ranging from 21°C to 30°C.
- August 13: Similar conditions with light rain; temperatures from 21°C to 29°C.
- August 14: Generally cloudy with light rain; temperatures between 20°C and 29°C.
- August 15: Cloudy with light rain; temperatures from 20°C to 29°C.
- August 16: Rain expected; temperatures ranging from 20°C to 29°C.
- August 17: Continued rain; temperatures between 20°C and 29°C.
