Bengaluru, Nov 18: After taking Kochi, Hyderabad and Delhi by storm, the Kiss of Love campaign is all set to be held in Bengalauru next week. Though a date and venue for the event is yet to be finalized, organizers of the event are upbeat.

Human Rights activist Rachita Taneja will be organizing the event provided it is being given a nod from the police and the state government given that it has drawn headlines for all the wrong reasons in other cities.

Kiss of Love comes to Bengaluru

Though the date and the venue has not been fixed, the event may likely be scheduled on Nov 29, either in front of Town Hall of MG Road Metro Station.

However police officials in the city are taking all steps and are preparing for the event. Home minister K J George said on Tuesday that the government would permit the event to be held if it falls within the purview of laws concerning public decency.

Kiss of Love first began in Kochi against moral policing and urged people to come out and show support for the cause by kissing their loved ones in public.

However there were protests against the event as many believed that 'it is not our culture to kiss in public.' Some who participated in the event were even detained by the police.
