South Central Railway Updates: Train Cancellations And Diversions From July To September 2024

The South Central Railway has announced modifications to train services due to a rolling corridor block in the Vijayawada Division.

While a few train services have been cancelled, many trains have been diverted. Here are the details:

Cancellation of Train Services:

• Train No. 17237 Bitragunta - Dr. MGR Chennai Central Express, departing from Bitragunta at 04:55 hrs, is fully canceled on various dates from July 29 to August 30, 2024.
• Train No. 17238 Dr. MGR Chennai Central - Bitragunta Express, departing from Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 16:30 hrs, is fully canceled on various dates from July 29 to August 30, 2024.

Diversion of Train Services:

1. Train No. 22643 Ernakulam - Patna Bi-Weekly Express, departing from Ernakulam at 17:20 hrs on July 29, August 5, 12, 19, and 26, 2024, will be diverted via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, and Nidadavolu.
2. Train No. 12509 SMVT Bengaluru - Guwahati Superfast Express, departing from SMVT Bengaluru at 23:40 hrs on various dates from July 31 to August 30, 2024, will be diverted via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, and Nidadavolu.
3. Train No. 13351 Dhanbad - Alappuzha Express, departing from Dhanbad at 11:35 hrs from July 29 to September 1, 2024, will be diverted via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada, skipping Tadepalligudem and Eluru.
4. Train No. 12376 Jasidih - Tambaram Superfast Weekly Express, departing from Jasidih at 13:10 hrs on July 31, August 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2024, will be diverted via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada, skipping Eluru.
5. Train No. 22837 Hatia - Ernakulam Dharti Aaba Weekly Express, departing from Hatia at 18:05 hrs on July 29, August 5, 12, 19, and 26, 2024, will be diverted via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada, skipping Eluru.
6. Train No. 18637 Hatia - SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express, departing from Hatia at 18:05 hrs on August 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2024, will be diverted via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada.
7. Train No. 12835 Hatia - SMVT Bengaluru Bi-Weekly Superfast Express, departing from Hatia at 18:05 hrs on July 30, August 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27, and September 1, 2024, will be diverted via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada.
8. Train No. 12889 Tatanagar - SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Superfast Express, departing from Tatanagar at 18:15 hrs on August 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2024, will be diverted via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada.
