Narendra Modi stresses education, health at Belgaum rally
Belgaum, Dec 20: The BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Thursday hit the election campaigns ahead of the Lok Sabha 2014 elections in Belgaum district of Karnataka.
While addressing at the occasion of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of JN Medical College, a part of KLE University, in Belgaum, Modi stressed on the importance of education and called for more research and use of technology in health sector, in the growth of any society.
He said, "Jan Bhagidari can play a key role in creating better health services and success to a healthy India can be achieved through it. Let us take up a movement to create a clean India when Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary will be celebrated."
Modi stressed on the importance of education and health.
While emphasizing on knowledge, Modi said, "A society that does not give importance to education cannot progress. Let there be any government, it must have a vision to make India shine in the field of education. Whenever we have entered a Gyaan Yug, India has led the way. The 21st century is also a century of knowledge."
Modi addressed over fifteen thousand students at the district stadium on the theme of 'healthcare in the country'.
