Fresh Faces, Fresh Hope: TDP-JSP Gamble On Crowdsourced Candidates For 2024
In a move shaking up Andhra Pradesh's political scene, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena Party jointly announced their first list of candidates for the 2024 Assembly elections. The landmark list, featuring 118 nominees, breaks new ground with its focus on fresh faces, youth, and marginalized communities.
Youth and Fresh Faces Take Center Stage:

23 newcomers make up TDP's 94 candidates, signalling a dramatic shift from traditional strategies. The alliance boasts 28 post-graduate, 50 graduate, 3 doctor, 2 PhD, and 1 IAS officer candidates.
For the first time ever in Indian politics, this candidate selection process stands as a testament to the power of the masses, as it has been prepared after considering the opinion of more than 1 crore 3 lakh 33 thousand people. By embracing crowdsourcing, the TDP-JSP alliance aims to decentralize power, placing the aspirations and voices of the people of Andhra at the forefront of their political agenda.
This historic initiative marks a turning point where TDP-JSP looks more confident and election-ready before the final battle. Addressing the press conference at Undavalli, TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu said, "TDP-JSP is ready for election war. This alliance for the state's future and the brighter future of Andhra Pradesh."

- Anakapalli - Konathala Ramakrishna
- Rajanagaram - Battula Balaramakrishna
- Kakinda Rural - Pantham Nanaji
- Tenali - Nadendla Manohar
