Anna Hazare on a 2-day protest at Jantar Mantar today

New Delhi, Feb 23: Social activist of the Jan Lokpal Bill-fame Anna Hazare is on yet another mission where he will be protesting against "anti-farmer land ordinance" bill.

He also offered Congress's Rahul Gandhi to join the campaign if he wanted to on the condition that he will have to sit with common man. Interestingly, this was in contrary to the fact that he was averse to any political party joining the campaign.

He also offered Arvind Kejriwal to share stage with him, depending on whether his profile as the CM of New Delhi would restrict him from doing that. He said,"The land ordinance is against the farmers.

In an agriculturally dominated nation, when there is torture on farmers, then all the people should stand united. So we want that any opposition party, or be it Kejriwal, all the workers should work together to take this agitation forward," Hazare said, adding that Kejriwal was willing to join the campaign.

He further added,""I told him (Kejriwal) that workers should not come on to the stage, they can join the agitation. We will talk on this in detail as I am meeting him tomorrow. We will talk and figure out the next plan of action."

"Arvind is now the CM. Not Arvind as a person but being a chief minister, whether we have to respect his post or not that we will decide. If everybody decides that Arvind should sit on the stage, then I don't have any problem..." Hazare said.

"This (land) ordinance is against the farmers and in favour of the corporates. It seems to be 'Achhe Din' only for the corporates," he said.
