Syria: More than 200 killed in poisonous gas attack
Bangalore, Aug 21: Syrian pro-opposition activists claimed that more than 200 people have been killed by "poisonous gas" attack by President Bashar al-Assad's forces near the national capital, Damascus, on Wednesday morning.

The activists claimed that regime forces fired "rockets with poisonous nerve gas heads" in the alleged attack early on Wednesday.
Syrian authorities are yet to give a statement on the attack and who have denied using chemical weapons during the country's two-year conflict, and have accused rebels of using them, which the rebels also denied.
It comes three days after a 20-strong team of UN weapons inspectors arrived in Damascus to investigate whether chemical weapons have been used in the conflict.
