Pakistan Shocker: Abbottabad? Osama was in Peshawar too
Islamabad, July 11: Since he slipped into Pakistan in mid-2002 , Osama bin Laden lived in at least five different places including Peshawar before finally settling down in Abbottabad in 2005 where he was eventually killed by US navy SEALs in a covert raid in 2011.
Osama arrived in Pakistan "sometime in the spring or summer of 2002" and lived in at least six different places over nearly a decade.

That included two places in the tribal areas of western Pakistan (South Waziristan & Bajaur), as well as Peshawar, Swat and Haripur, according to a report of the Abbottabad Commission. Interestingly, members of his family also lived in Karachi , Quetta and the Iran-Pakistan border area.
