Suicide: Jiah Khan-boyfriend fought over another woman?

Mumbai, June 4: Suraj Pancholi, son of Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi, was grilled by Mumbai Police on Tuesday, June 4. Suraj was summoned to police station following suicide of his girlfriend and actress Jiah Khan.

According to TV reports, Jiah and Suraj had had an argument over phone on the fateful night of Monday. Several phone calls and messages were exchanged between the duo. The reports informed that the couple had a fight over another woman.

The 25-year-old actress, who had worked with Bollywood megastars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, hanged herself at her Juhu residence in Mumbai on Monday.

Jiah's mother and sister were not present at their residence and found her body around 11:00 pm when they returned to their flat.

According to Jiah's mother's statement, the young actress was disappointed as she recently was rejected during an audition for a Telugu film in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, director Ram Gopal Verma, who had worked with Jiah, tweeted, "I dont know the reason what led to this but jiah was very depressed about her career and scared for her future."

"Inspite of being highly appreciated in Nishabd nd being a part of hugely successful Ghazni and Houseful she had no work for the last 3 years," added Verma.
