After NCP, Cong attacks PA Sangma

Condemning Sangma's remarks, Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi said there can be nothing "more derogatory than making Raisina Hill dumping ground" remark for the President House. "The language which the Opposition nominee for the Presidential election is using is unfortunate," he said.
Alvi said while everybody is free to contest elections irrespective of what will be the result, "using such language is unfortunate not only for a particular person but even for the post for which elections are being held". He also reminded Sangma that the person who is elected to the top Constitutional post has to maintain the dignity of the office for which the election is being held.
NCP General Secretary DP Tripathi had said yesterday "it is very unfortunate that PA Sangma is not observing decency, decorum and dignity in the Presidential elections".
