Bangalore: Software engineer dies of heart attack on flight

Rehaman was a software engineer by profession and was a resident of Kammanahalli in Bangalore. He complained of chest pain and called flight attendance for help.
The crew present in the flight gave emergency first-aid to Rehaman but he soon fell unconscious. Citing his deteriorating condition, the pilot informed Bangalore international airport authorities who later arranged an ambulance and a heart specialist doctor from MS Ramaiah Medical College Hospital.
Rehaman was taken to the Medical Investigation Centre at the airport soon after the landing of the flight at around 4:15 pm. But Rehaman was declared brought dead.
After conducting postmortem in MS Ramaiah Medical College Hospital, airport police handed over Rehaman's body to his parents.
According to police sources, Rehaman hailed from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and died of cardiac arrest.
