Nepal plane crash: Child actor among 15 killed

Kathmandu, May 15: Child actor Taruni Sachdev was among the 15 killed in the

that took place at the Jomsom Airport in Mustang district of

, while it was trying to land on Monday.

The actor had made an appearance in Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 'Paa' and has featured in more than 50 commercials.

Thirteen Indians were among the 15 killed in the Nepal plane crash. The plane carrying 21 people onboard crashed into the mountainous northern region of Nepal at 9:45 AM (NPT).

According to Indian Embassy officials, who were present at the mortuary, the identification of some of the dead bodies may become a difficult task as the bodies were badly mutilated or the faces were unrecognisable.

They said that the bodies would be handed over after a post-mortem was conducted.

The Agni Air Dornier Do 228 light passenger aircraft was flying from Pokhara to Jomsom, when it crash landed at the mountain strip in Nepal.
