Veena Malik to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party?

Islamabad, Apr 16: Upcoming Bollywood starlet and item number queen Veena Malik is all set for her new innings in politics after her announcement to enter the active political scene. She has stated that she will join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and is formulating plans to make formal appearances in upcoming rallies in a bid to attract youth. The matter was verified by sources within the PTI.

As per information provided by the PTI, Veena may even appear and perform at public gatherings of the PTI. The report on this appeared in the Daily Times.

Cricketer turned politician Imran Khan, who heads the PTI, feels that musical bands is the best way to attract the public and youth in particular. They also feel that Malik’s performance in the PTI rallies will persuade youth to join the party and attend public gatherings in large numbers.

Dr Shireen Mazari, the foreign policy head of the PTI on the issue of Veena joining the party said that she wasn’t aware of it. She added, “if you have knowledge about Veena’s joining of the PTI, then tell me also.”
