KMC not to waive off amusement tax for SRK

"Nothing about this was discussed at the meeting with him yesterday. We are not waiving it off now," Chatterjee told PTI.
Khan had met Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and other ministers at her office yesterday evening where plans about how to promote the state through a campaign involving the actor were discussed.
The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) had earlier sent notice to KKR to clear their amusement tax dues worth Rs 20.5 lakh incurred during the IPL last season. For this year, KMC officials said they will levy an amusement tax of Rs 9.75 lakh per match totalling to Rs 78 lakh for all the matches during the current IPL season.
