Pak acts stiff necked over Saeed, calls it internal matter

Islamabad, Apr 6: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday called the Hafiz Saeed row an internal matter adding that any proof against him should be provided to Islamabad.

Gilani's comments come after US announced a bounty of $10 million on Hafiz Saeed.

Meanwhile, the US steeping its pressure on Pakistan said that it wanted to mete out justice and convict Saeed in the court of law, the mastermind behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks. US maintained that the bounty was not for finding his location.

Meanwhile, the security of the LeT chief and the JuD founder was beefed up following the announcement of bounty.

In a television interview, Saeed mocked at the US and asked it to give him the bounty offered for him under the Rewards for Justice programme.

He also dismissed the allegations levelled against him of his alleged active role in terrorism.
