Delhi: ABVP protesters attack, woman journalist saves Geelani

The Hurriyat leader was in the national capital and was saved by a noted woman journalist Madu Kishwar. According to sources, the agitators on Monday raised slogan against the Hurriyat leader and pull off his cap.
The journalist saved Geelani from more humiliation when he was being heckled by the ABVP workers in Delhi. However, this was not the first time when Geelani faced such humiliation in the national capital.
Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted from micr-blogging site Twitter, "These BSKS & ABVP goons are bloody idiots. Anyone can assault an old man. As if attacking SASG will make the Kashmir issue just disappear."
Kashmiri pandits in 2010 hurled shoe on the leader and created ruckus at the convention on "Azaadi, the only Way," which was being attended by a number of sympathisers of Kashmiri separatists and naxals.
