Book Air India tickets from your cellphone now

Mumbai, Mar 21: The national carrier Air India has unveiled a new mobile phone booking facility. Now customers can book and buy AI domestic travel tickets through their mobile phone, using a one-time downloadable Ngpay software.

Meanwhile, to access the facility customers needs to SMS 'ngpay' to 56767 and download the free Ngpay software from ngpay.com on his GPRS enabled mobile phone to book their tickets.

After the downloding the software the customer needs to complete a one-time registration process by providing his/her basic personal details like name, mobile number, email id, date of birth and address.

The entire process of booking and payment for tickets is extremely user friendly.

Moreover, when the booking and payment transaction gets over, the customer is informed about the ticket by two means- sms, which deliver details about the booked sector with flight number and reference and through e-mail which contains an itinerary ticket receipt (ITR).
