Shehla murder: Zahida, aide refuse to take polygraph test

Bhopal, Mar 12: The key accused in Shehla Masood's murder, Zahida Parvez and her close aide Saba Farooqui refused to undergo a lie-detection test on Monday, Mar 12.

A special CBI court has given permission to the investigation agency to carry out the tests on three main persons including BJP MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh. Meanwhile, Zahida and her aide have refused to take the lie-detection test by citing health problems.

The investigation agency officials said that they cannot do much because it is mandatory to take consent of the person before carrying out the test.

Meanwhile, the agency has been trying to conduct lie-detection test on BJP MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh as he has given his consent before the special CBI court in Indore.

The CBI has so far arrested three persons in connection with the 2011 killing and they include an interior designer Zahida Pervez, her assistant Saba Farooqi, Shaquib Ali and an alleged history-sheeter and shooter Irfan, arrested from Kanpur by the UP Special Task Force.
