UP Polls: Priyanka Gandhi impresses BJP minister

Uttar Pradesh, Feb 16: Babulal Gaur, Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Minister on Thursday, Feb 16 praised Priyanka Gandhi saying that the Congress party should have projected Priyanka and not her brother Rahul Gandhi in UP elections.

"It would have been better if the Congress had projected Priyanka in place of Rahul," he said.

He further said that he was impressed with Priyanka Gandhi, who was a reflection of Indira Gandhi. [Read: Priyanka Gandhi divides BJP minister, Uma Bharti]

Talking about the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, he said that he saw no scope that BJP could win the elections adding that according to his assessment, he saw Samajwadi Party had good chance to stand out in the elections.

He said that SP would lead in Uttar Pradesh, followed by Bahujan Samaj Party, BJP and then Congress.

He further said that the assessment was completely his point of view and he did not know what other party leaders felt on the same.
