Andhra Pradesh budget in danger; 21 govt sites hacked

If reports are to be believed, 21 state government websites have been hacked by cyber intruders. The hacked websites reportedly carry information regarding the upcoming budget.
Citing the activities, it seems that the intruder tried to prove that they are not some radical hackers who hacked the sites to steal some information, instead showed their capability.
The hackers have not defaced the homepages of the sites, but have added extra web page links with different messages.
The 21 government websites include departments of Gazette notifications, government orders, commercial taxes, GAD, horticulture, factories, remote and interior area development and many others.
Meanwhile, the State Finance Minister assured that the budget proposal have not been hacked. However, Sanjay Jaju, State IT secretary claimed that the government can not confirm the news of hacking as they were not sure whether it was hacked or virus affected.
