New Delhi map
New Delhi, Jan 29: Delhi commission for women on Sunday, Jan 29 met the chief minister, Shiela Dikshit and stated that she wants to adopt the battered baby Falak who has been admitted in AIIMS.

After her meeting with the CM, the Delhi commission for women also proposed that she would sponsor Falak's education. It might be a relieving news for Delhi police and AIIMS officials who have been rigorously searching for the real parents of the 2-year-old baby girl.

Here it can be recalled that the child, Falak is suffering from severe head injuries and was brought to hospital in a state of coma. She had human bite marks all over her body and her cheeks appeared to be brandished with a hot iron rod.

The baby was brought in by a 15 year old girl who claimed to be the child's mother. The police said that the teenage girl has been sent to a juvenile home.
