Bangalore: Another software firm's employee commits suicide

Bangalore, Jan 20: Within months another woman employee of a software company committed suicide in Bangalore. 25-year-old Savitha hanged herself in her residence in RT Nagar in Bangalore on Friday, Jan 20.

Savitha's parents accused her fiance with whom Savitha broke her relationship following some misunderstanding. However, Savitha's fiance, who has been accused of harassing her suspecting infidelity, is absconding now.

Police started investigating the case. Savitha was working in a software company as a Human Resource (HR) manager. Even her fiance reportedly is a software engineer.

Here it can be recalled that recently another suicide news rocked the silicon city when Rohit Ananthakrishna, husband of Smitha Rao who committed suicide, was arrested following the complaints of the parents of the deceased. [Read: Infy employee suicide: Hubby, a Google engineer, arrested]

Ananthakrishna, who is an engineer working with Google, has been arrested on charges of abetting the suicide of Smitha who was an employee of Infosys.
