3 ex-K'taka CMs-SM Krishna, HDK,Dharam Singh to be arrested?

Bangalore, Jan 20: It might be a major setback for three former Chief Ministers of Karnataka - SM Krishna, Dharam Singh and HD Kumaraswamy when the High Court of the state on Friday, Jan 20 delivered its crucial order.

Following the court order, the three former CMs of the state might be arrested soon. The High Court's order states that the Lokayukta has the rights to file FIR against the three above mentioned people who are allegedly involved in illegal mining scams.

The present Foreign Minister of India, Krishna earlier had challenged an investigation by the Lokayukta police. Krishna has been accused of allowing a land for mining which was actually allocated for forest. However, the High Court on Friday dismissed Krishna's petition and claimed that the Lokayukta can proceed with their investigation on Krishna.

Refusing to comment on the High Court's decision, Krishna said, "Unless I see the full text of the judgement, I think till then I would not be in any position to make a comment about it."
