I'm not resistant to political pressure: DV Sadananada Gowda

Mangalore, Jan 18: Chief Minister DV Sadananada Gowda on Tuesday accepted that while transferring officials from one position to another, he gave in to political pressure.

While speaking to the media, he said that he had a list of transfer request but he didn't work on it. He accepted that he was not immune to political pressure and reteriated that he had kept political transfers to a bare minimum.

Replying on the officials transfer, he said that they should work freely without any political pressure.

He claimed that officials would be transferred during the summer vacations, until then they are transferrred to fill vacancies or on mutual consent.

Gowda asserted that around 70 percent of the programmes planned for the current year had been implemented successfully.
