Doc accused of sexually harassing female intern in college

Dharamshala , Dec 13: A 24-year-old intern girl at the Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda near Kangra was allegedly molested by a resident doctor in the medicine department. The girl accused that the doctor misbehaved with her while she was working in the department lab.

The girl alleged that the doctor, Aditya Khana came in while she was testing some samples in lab and kept his hand on her shoulder and then tried to kiss her forcibly. When she shouted for help, Khana fled the spot.

Later, the girl reported the case to the college authority and an FIR was filed against Khana with the Kangra police. Meanwhile, the college principal has suspended the accused doctor and ordered an inquiry to find out the truth over the allegation made by the girl. A case under Section 354 of the IPC has been charged against the doctor.
