Uma writes to Sonia, Rahul for 'proper inquiry' against UP CM

"Uma Bharti had already faxed all the documents to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and general secretary Rahul Gandhi on December 5," party spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak told reporters here.
He said Bharti along with national secretary Kirit Somaiya has presented documents relating to Anand and his wife about their involvement in various irregularities.
"The senior leader in her letter has said that a number of agencies to probe economic offences were under the Centre. She has said that the documents given by the BJP should be probed," Pathak said. Bharti has said that if the documents were found false and misleading then her party leaders should be punished, but action should be taken against Mayawati and her family members if they are found true.
"Umaji has said that there is suspicion in the minds of the people that BSP and Congress have tacit understanding. She has said that the suspicion could only be removed when a proper inquiry is conducted," he said.
The BJP spokesman demanded that Mayawati should give point-wise clarification on the allegations levelled by the party. BJP on December 8 had accused Anand Kumar and his wife of parking money through ghost and dummy companies at Noida.
"There are 26 companies linked with dubious transactions, dealings and investment, of which seven closed down after financial transaction of Anand Kumar," BJP national secretary Kirit Somaiya had alleged while releasing the list of companies.
He had alleged that more than 100 such companies were involved in Noida scam.
