J Dey Murder: 'Killer Journalist' Vora sent to jail

Mumbai, Dec 9: Jigna Vora, who was arrested over her alleged role in the murder case of senior crime reporter, Mid DAY - Jyotirmoy Dey (J Dey), has been sent to judicial custody till Dec 20.

A special court in Mumbai on Friday, Dec 9 sent Vora along with another close aide of Chhota Rajan - Paulson Joseph to the judicial custody.

Earlier, Mumbai crime branch of police had seized another mobile phone of Vora and the cops claimed that they may unearth leading clues related to Dey's murder from her mobile phone.

Vora allegedly supplied information on Dey's bike number and other details to Chhota Rajan - the main accused in the murder case.

Dey, a senior crime reporter was murdered by some unidentified assailants in broad daylight on a Mumbai road. It has been suspected that Vora, who was also a crime reporter with The Asian Age, gave Dey's details to the underworld don for taking professional vengeance.
