Congress Party official website hacked on Sonia's Birthday

According to sources, the profile of the party president Sonia Gandhi was replete with objectionable content. The hacking of the Congress website comes in wake of Kapil Sibal’s statement to screen the internet content, which is alleged to contain nude morphed pictures of Sonia Gandhi. The AICC site has closed for sometime following detection of incursion.
AICC Computer Department chief Vishwajeet Prithvijeet Singh said that Congress websites namely aicc.org.in, congress.org.in were hacked in Friday (today) morning and the third website inc.org.in remained unaffected.
He further said that the hacking came to light as the servers hosting the websites collapsed due to massive re-direction of internet traffic. Meanwhile, Union Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal said that government will evolve guidelines and mechanisms for screening of internet content.
