J Dey murder: 'Killer journalist' Vora in big trouble

Mumbai, Dec 8: The Crime branch of Mumbai police seized another mobile phone of the arrested journalist of The Asian Age - Jigna Vora who was taken to police custody over the J Dey murder case.

According to police sources, the seventh cellphone of Vora may give enough evidence against Vora to prove her involvement in the murder case.

The Crime Branch officials said, "The phone was traced by its IMEI number and now we have recovered seven mobiles and sent all of them to the forensic laboratory to retrieve the deleted data."

The deleted items of the cellphone may reveal Vora's connection with the underworld don, Chhota Rajan - the main accused in J Dey murder case.

Earlier the investigative agency revealed that Vora, a Mumbai based journalist (crime reporter) gave the details of the bike number of J Dey and his residence to Chotta Rajan, whom she thought was a party with the Chotta Shakeel gang.

Crime Journalist of the MiD DAY, J Dey was murdered in broad daylight by unidentified assailants, who were later found to be hired by Chotta Rajan.
