Woman kills hubby, tries to 'cook' his chopped body parts

Karachi, Nov 25: A Pakistani woman, who killed her husband and was trying to cook his body parts after he planned to marry another woman without her permission, was arrested by the police.

Pakistani police arrested Zainabi Bibi, 32 along with her nephew Zaheer, 22 in the Shah Faisal colony of Pakistan's southern megacity Karachi. Cops also recovered the bowl of chopped body parts that were ready to be cooked. Pakistan television networks showed the footage of human flesh in a bowl ready for the stove.

A neighbour claimed that there could be two factors behind her intention to cook the husband. First is to destroy the evidence and second could be her hatred against him over his plan to marry another woman.

According to family law in the Islamic country, a man has to get permission from his first wife before his second marriage, which is seldom followed.
