Rape: 42-year-old teacher accused of raping sixth grade boy

New York, Nov 24: A Brooklyn teacher has been charged with raping a boy who was in her sixth grade class after giving drugs and alcohol, said police..

The 42-year-old teacher, Claudia Tillery, was arrested by the police after she was accused by the victim, reported the New York Daily News.

The accused was charged with rape, sexual misconduct, unlawful dealing of drugs, sexual abuse, alcohol to a child and acting in an unacceptable way that proved injurious to the kid.

According to the boy, now 14, he had physical relation with the teacher since 2009. He later decided to end the relationship.

"I'm in shock," said a woman whose daughter studied in Tillery's class in 2010.

"I still can't believe this happened. Why would anyone do this? I'm ready to pull my kids out of the school. When your own child is affected by something like this, it's scary," she said.
